Hello fellow forum folk,

I posted around a year ago about my experiences and this is a loosely connected sequel.

Anyone in the UK is probably aware of the constant scandals we have with corrupt officers, with almost a new one every week emerging. What makes this one different is the senior rank of Chief Constable, making him the highest ranking officer in the region he Polices.

This guy Nick Adderley claimed to have been a Falklands war veteran, wearing medals despite only being 15 at the time of the conflict. When caught out he later claimed they were his brother's and he got mixed up wearing them on the wrong side.

This is a frowned upon in the UK but not a crime, so he managed to play it down a lot, claiming it was a mistake.

I personally played a large part in uncovering how he claimed to have been a Commander in The Royal Navy in the 10 years before joining Police in 1992, when in actual fact he did less than 2 years and then ran a pub, hiding this from application and amounting to fraud

Curious what those of you across the pond make of this, or even those in the UK as there is a lot of spin and drama going on around this guy with large scale efforts to cover this up and protect him.
