Hello fellow members of Seibertron.com! I'll cut right to the chase...I am a relatively new collector of Transformer toys, and have been building a Generations collections over the past two years. They are currently on some shelves in my room, and do not have any protective casing.

My question for those with more experience than me is this What display cases would you recommend from personal experience? Dust free cases would be nice, but I really just want to get a better idea of what you guys have had luck with.

I have looked on Amazon.com, and some other retailer websites, but haven't been able to narrow much down. I would very much appreciate any tips, personal experiences, and setups that you all have to offer! Thank you!

Til all are one :BOT:

Personally, if you are looking for something more protective and higher-end, I would go for one of these Detolfs. They are $60 before shipping, but are incredibly helpful. I have one myself for my Gundam, G1, MPs and Animated shelves, and they are wonderful! Nice and heavy and cool looking.

The trouble with Detolf is that they're not dust free. A surprising amount of dust can get in at the top and sides of the door. I put white draft excluding tape around. It helps a lot and doesn't look too bad but it was a bit fiddly.

I'm moving soon and want to properly display my collection at my new place. My plan is to only get 1-2 Detolfs for my high-end stuff (MPs, SoC). Is there a good way to store/display my regular stuff? I want to avoid just throwing everything into a bin, and don't really want to get 5 Detolfs for stuff like from the Generations line. Ideas?

Also, I would like to make the Detolf dust-free. Saw a few videos on YouTube ... did you guys just follow that or is there an easier way?

People like Ikea's Billy bookshelves because you can set the shelves at different heights.

I don't know if there's an easier way than those YouTube videos because I don't know what videos you've seen! :D
