This is who the cast of the first MCU X-Men film should be, and no one else:
But the likelihood of at least one faithful iteration of the X-Men onscreen is next to nil. Considering all the Wolverine news around. Which is disappointing.
Meanwhile, this can happen separately in Captain Marvel 3...
Rogue debuted as a villain. They should go all-in on that.
She-Hulk Episode 7

AKA Enter: The D-Listers
Last week's episode introduced a member of the West Coast Avengers, of all things. This week we have the debut of four D-List "supervillains". One from Antman, Blade, Daredevil and - yet again - another onscreen Mutant debut. Considering the tone of this episode. I probably think this was the best episode to date. Which may not be a very high bar, given your reaction towards the series so far.
My main issue with Shulk is that it is one of those American shows billed as a "comedy" that just isn't very funny. Like if this were out in the 90's, it would have had a canned laughter track playing throughout. It has raised the odd smirk, but nothing more than that. I was also surprised how superficially the show is handling the lawyer side of things. From the comics, I was expecting a Ally McBeal/Boston Legal with superpowers. Lampooning a typical procedural law show. But that's just not happening, either.
Which is a real shame. Since I think Tatiana Maslany is a really good fit for the role.
Obviously this does have the default MCU problem of poor villain characterisation IE the Wrecking Crew. But that isn't unique to this show.
1 more year until Darkhawk comes out. I plan on getting Darkhawk on dvd. I should also get Werewolf by night on dvd. I like Quasar even though marvel gave the gauntlets to ms marvel. I should get the last season of agents of shield on dvd, for Deathlok. I wonder how Sleepwalker will be. I want Julia Carpenter to be in Madame web, with her daughter Rachel Carpenter in Raiders clothing. I like Elsa Bloodstone. I would like Sin to have her origin told.
I'm sure Sony will continue making ancillary character films for as long as they can. How long before Judas Traveller, Jackal or The Spot debuts in their own standalone movie?
It would be nice if Julia Carpenter debuted in the upcoming Secret Wars film (assuming it is adapted from the original event and definitely not the Hickman one). But at this point, I think we have to accept that most of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and the Avengers Rogues Gallery aren't coming to the big screen.

I think you're wishing on a star hoping it's the original event, especially given the multiverse that phase 4 set up.

The original event would be the most natural adaptation to culminate all the multiverse stuff. The Hickman one revolves around Dr Doom, the Molecule Man and the Fantastic Four. They haven't even been introduced yet. Plus the incursions thing has already been made into something different in Dr. Strange 2 anyway.
I would still say to expect the recent secret wars event rather then the first one. Though, given the lead up film is a Kang centric one, I'm expecting a few changes to the story

It's really not a good idea to adapt a story wherein the MCU doesn't remotely have analogue characters to it.
I was reading some Marvel related Q&A recently and in the comments of the article someone asked "if they can brush aside all the Avengers stuff. Since the real A-List heroes of Marvel are coming?"
The Marvel Studios rep tried to answer. But I don't think they were quite prepared for the question. I don't think they appreciate how many Marvel Comics fans have been watching the MCU and waiting for the Avengers to go away. For their favourite characters to enter the spotlight.
I like Invisible Woman alot. Molecule Man should have been played by Owen Hart along time ago. Molecule Man is Owen Reese from the comics. Estella Warren makes a good Black Cat.
Being a fan of villains, I am extremely sceptical of the MCU. On the Iron Man side of things. I'd have loved to see Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo or just a fun city spanning fight against Ultimo. The Avengers never even got to fight a single criminal team such as the Masters of Evil or Serpent Society. Goofy or not, they are Their villains.
Thanos, Hela and Kingpin. They have been done well on the big screen. Kang, I was somewhat reassured by the Loki show. The Leader, I am very nervous about. Also, they surely know if they get the casting of Dr. Doom wrong, they will never hear the end of it.
After a quick casual look (really, a rumour of Zack Synder to direct Secret Wars?), some places are suggesting that Marvel are trying to combine elements of both Secret Wars events.

No... Just no. And most Marvel fans know who MM's real name is and the play on words is just cheap.. No
I am hoping the leader is portrayed well, maybe some kind of story as he has been pulling strings for years or something like that especially since he was loosely "introduced" in The Incredible Hulk many many moons ago.
I've seen this image a lot recently. I would like to see this kind of thing culminate in Secret Wars. Maybe swap out nerfed MCU Hulk with the more comic accurate one..

When they introduced the multiverse it almost screamed "every Marvel movie ever is technically in the MCU now" thanks to variants. Spider Man No Way home pretty much cemented this notion with Spiders from other universes (movies) coming to the MCU. I was a fan of Thomas Jayne's Punisher and would love seeing him somehow coming to the MCU.

I liked Owen Hart before he died. I like Owen Reese and I'm a marvel fan.
I need to get Werewolf by night if he comes out on dvd. Werewolf by night is on Disney plus. I don't have disney plus, however I am subsribed to marvel on youtube. Werewolf by night got an origin story on watchmojo. I own Werewolf by night comics.
