Waterslides can be a bit tricky, you have to wet them, then slide them to where you want them and then dry them. I normally use a cotton bud or something like it to gently slide and press them into place. They can be quite tricky as they are liable to slide all over the place while you're trying to finalise their position. Still its up to you if you want to apply them, I think it looks great as is :-)

Nice Sig!!

I'm thinking I will wait a week or 2 to tackle Blue Frame. That guy is gonna be so tedious to build.

They can stand just fine on their own, but I like the stands for the action poses, and because I don't want a lot, just to find some that stand out and take my time building them and enjoying them

Any plans to pick up more yet, or are you gonna finish what you have first?

Finish what I have and go from there. I have a hobby shop nearby, but when I visited they didn't have a very appealing selection of Gundam

Ah, lucky. I gotta get my stuff from Amazon.

I found all mine at local hobby shops. I'm not particularly interested in finding Gundam online

I've got one shop that sells gundams (not exactly local but a bus/train away) they don't do the best prices but it's a toss up between having it in hand instantly or waiting and getting it cheaper.

I'm always inundated with choice when it comes to gundams, there's a few designs I'm not fond of but it is my dream to have all series represented at least once. Got a long way to go yet :-P

What kits do you have so far?

Currently I have master grade f91 gundam, master grade crossbone gundam x1 ver ka, high grade rx 78nt gundam Alex and high grade victory 2 gundam. The last two are the smaller 1/144 scale.

I did have more but when we moved i had to clear out some of my collections so a lot of them was sold as I had the full gundam wing series of no grade 1/144 series among others. I've managed to make a bit of space so I've started to rebuild the collection. It's fun actually as I love building them :-)

Alright, so I bought this stand for my MG 00 Raiser, it's on the way, but I'm getting impatient. If any of you have this stand, could you take a pic with a Gundam attached to the arm and just standing on the base, not in the air? I wanna see how it will look, and I can't find any online. :-s

That is the exact stand Barbatos and Quant are standing on here. Standing there on the stand doesn't really do them much justice. You would need to keep the crane part detached. Better to leave them in the air in a pose than standing on it.

I can take a picture later after dinner and laundry are done if you want though

I know, I plan on changing the poses every so often. Just wanna see how standing looks.

Yes please, if you still can.

Looking at picking up the Master Grade GM Sniper II soon, to replace my Robot Damashii. :-?

I like the gm sniper II though in fact I like any mech that uses a sniper rifle  though going by the fiction for the universal century timeline, the sniper rifle is one of the longest ranged weapons that can be used (if memory serves).

Was low on funds, so I ended up getting the HG Denial Gundam and an Action Base 2. Also built an HG Schwarzritter for a friend!

Current wishlist (which I'm trying and failing to keep to a minimum)...

Master Grade
-Exia (Ignition)
-Deathscythe Hell (EW)
-Epyon (EW)
-Unicorn HD (with MS Cage)
-Sinanju (Ver Ka)
-GM Sniper II

High Grade
-Build Strike Full Package
-Try Burning
-Schwarzritter
-Transient Glacier
-Shia Qan[T]

...any issues with those kits, or better alternatives in the same scale?

Got the build fighters bug eh? ;-) are you watching build divers? It streams from gundam.info there's some nice looking suits on that show.

An impressive list there (quite an expensive list as well, that unicorn gundam isn't cheap!) I myself have no issues with that list. Have you tried looking for reviews for them on YouTube?

I found the Unicorn for $70. :ic$: I have looked for reviews, which is where I got a lot of the Build Fighter kits from. I wanna only get Build Fighters in High Grade, everything else in Master Grade. I was able to find a couple reviews for the Master Grades, but I mostly found them via browsing Amazon for specific...is it frames? Models? Units? :-s Anyway, as for shows, at the moment I'm juggling Gundam 00 season two, Gundam Wing with my dad, and Gundam Build Fighters (and Kamen Rider Gaim but that's a different thread entirely  ). I'll watch Divers once I get through Fighters and Fighters Try.

Don't forget try island wars, it's a small ova that follows on from try. Seems like you got quite a lot on your viewing plate  When refering to different models I find models/kits to be quite interchangeable but if you're talking in universe fiction, I stick with mobile suits. All gundams are mobile suits but not all mobile suits are Gundam ;-) apart from G Gundam where they are all gundams and mobile fighters to boot.

Oh, are there any good comparisons between the various 1/100 RX-78-2 kits? Or a definitive best version?

Ver 2.0 is probably the best I would say as they put a lot into that redesign.

Hm...not really feeling that one. Right now I'm looking at the 3.0 and the Gundam The Origin Version. Leaning toward the latter...?

I completely forgot about the ver 3.0 shows how long ago I was looking at the rx-79

*goes and looks up the gundam the origin version*

You know what...now I want that one, only problem I can see is that the amuro is going to have to be painted (like all pilot figures really), that kit looks amazing.

EDIT: just seen this while researching that master grade rx-78. Looks really nice but it's going to be pricey

I'm looking to get a 1/100 scale kit of the Gundam Wing. I know there's a High Grade that came out when Build Fighters started, but it seems like the Master Grade is kinda old? Or is there a more recent one?
