Version 1: Underwater Exploration vehicle
Due to the usage of domed windscreen, the robot proportions was not that good. And the legs integrity was poor too. parts were prone to pop off during transformation.
Version 2: A hovercar
I ditched the reliance of windscreen to build a better looking bot mode. One thing regressed though: His head no longer has left-to-right neck swivel . He can still raise his head up and down though. And his shoulder joints were awkward.
And now.. Version 3: A better looking Hovercar !
My initial idea for v3 would be improving the flaws from earlier versions. v2 didn't have an obvious windscreen /cockpit in vehicle mode, and I was inspired to implement them after fiddling around with the arch/curved parts from the set.

There's a turntable part from this lego set which I finally able to utilize in this v3. This means the transformation is more complex than earlier versions, but satisfying!
