Beast Machines is the most mature (in the correct sense of the word), one of the darkest (in a meaningful way), and the most philosophically-deep, insightful, and thought-provoking TF cartoon we've ever gotten. I love it.
Naturally, but the original complaints were about the presence of Cybertronian altmodes among the Earth modes, which those who raised said complaints don't want. But I'm with you in knowing that it's at least not all Cybertronian altmodes.
The show I heard has a good story which is great and all but it has to look good as well (for me) because otherwise I just don't get as invested it's like with some people and Transformers Animated or for me my initial dislike of Star Wars the Clone Wars when it was first revealed.
Also last thing regarding Cybertronian modes I have no problem with them existing I only have problems with it when it's everyone that has them and not just a couple of them it's why while I like reading the new comics and consider them good comics I don't think their good "Transformers" comics due to them almost never Transforming at all in fact MTMTE has at times gone through several issues in a row without any Transforming.
Roberts writing style would be much better used in a Tv show or maybe even a movie like improving these live action ones maybe just as long as he keeps the over complicated awkward tumblr-pandering themes (Conjunx Endura
) or the over excessive tv show references (Swerves) out.
