Definitely getting Lio Convoy. Looks so good, and interestingly enough is not a retool of Tigatron. So many kitties now.

Scrapbook is really cool looking and a weaponized to boot. May just get him too, he looks like a ton of fun.

Tarn I can skip, no attachment. Though may break down and get him if I have some spare change and he's not too expensive.

You're absolutely right! D'oh! Scraphook is a shoe-in for Energon Rodimus.

I guess I was just caught up in the reveals still. Plus I think Energon Landmine is awesome and WAY overdue for an update.

Ill be picking up a few of these especially Needlenose and Hot Shot. My only issue is the hosts seem fake as hell to me and are absolutely annoying.

I would personally love it if they were scaled around Deluxe class too, much like how I'd prefer it if Predaking and Devastator weren't Voyager scaled.

But, still, at the very least a tiny Monstructor would be toy-accurate, if that helps accept the potential...I'd just be glad if they gave us a new version of the team in general!

As for Tarn, frankly my dear, I dont give a Tarn....but it looks really realllly good so it's a buy.

Lioconvoy is looking really good and despite being more than happy with takara legends i think he will be getting bought.

core dinobots easy pass, at their prices they are close to being potp deluxe prices and the modes look a bit ugly with the odd coloring combo of toy dino mode cartoon bots.

Hotshot looks incomplete in vehicle mode and no jolt, but its a maybe.

Needlenose def buy.

Shattered glass soundwave a buy too even if the ravage can go straight in the bin when it gets left in the box by..erm... accident.

If you're gonna throw that Ravage away I'd be happy to pay shipping for it instead

They were released in 1989, well after the cartoon ended in the US.

Monstructor is the combined form of the Pretender Monsters. As per their name, they changed into "monsters" and as Pretenders they had monstrous shells, made of rubbery plastic (that didn't age well). In Japan their shells were replaced with Dinosaur ones, matching the original Dinobots plus a new genus for the sixth member.

The layout for those wondering:

Triceratops & Brontosaurus (Kakuryu & Rairyu): Torso
Pteranodon & Ankylosaurus (Yokuryu & Gairyu): Arms
Tyrannosaurus & Stegosaurus (Goryu & Doryu): Legs

Oh dear, the transparent plastic made it hard to notice at first - I wonder if it can be fiddled with? that seems like such an odd oversight. Hopefully it's just mistransformed here.

Oh god you're right... Hopefully there'll be some engineering trick to give him a decent knee bend despite the kibble

I'm probably in denial but there seems to be some sort of black hinge connected to the windscreen - maybe it's supposed to fold it to help fill in the calf + provide knee articulation? The pic's too blurry.

If I find him discounted I may pick him. But not really feeling the need to pickup him up at full price. Maybe if he gets a retool or repaint into someone else. We'll see.

Also, yes, my shelf space is a bit limited these days.

Core class Monstructor/Dinoking would be innacurate in size cartoon/comic wise, but it would be pretty funny if he was the smallest combiner AGAIN. Didn't catch it while looking at the stream, but yeah, Volcanicus is totally a pretool for that guy.

Can't wait to see Commander Class Armada Prime. And I suspect this year's titan is the Nemesis.

Looks like Hot Shot might have a minicon port in the middle of his spoiler?

Love all the new molds. Scraphook looks excellent, a real surprise winner. And there's a car on the poster that looks like a recolor of Animated Lockdown, althought that's probably more my imagination running wild, as all those junkions look like they're doing Micromaster Combiner Squad shenanigans.

There's no design from IDW I would really want... That isn't Stormbringer Thunderwing or Tidal Whale.

They are all great, and And I was not expecting the dinobots to combine. The only one I will buy is Lio Convoy.

I met some guy at Walmart who was looking looking at the transformers section at Walmart. He mumbled something about it not being there. I asked if he was looking for Cosmos. He responded saying he was looking for Laser Optimus Prime, and already had everything else. I feel bad for him cause all online laser primes are 10 bucks more now while I got mine ten bucks less on Ebay. If you are that dude please contact me because I've never met another tf fan in person and that would be interesting. I should have asked him for his contacts, I just remember he had his little girl there and he picked up a Galvatron.

The re were also Ovcerides there but I skipped. Please convince me not to go back and buy it because I am tempted.

Just saw a tweet where someone clocked the Animated Space bridge on the Evolution poster, just behind and above Lio Convoy. So maybe I'm not seeing things with that Lockdown Junkion.

Aside from the itty bitty Dinobots (enough with those characters already...) and Hot Shot (never was a fan of that design, but I'm surprised we haven't had a resurgence of jaAm) I like everything else that was revealed.

Hopefully the rest of the DJD is in the works too.

Looking closer at the poster, hope we get a high res version soon.



So the Junkions. Looks like a motorcycle that can be paired up and stuck to the front of Scraphook replacing the front end, that's interesting. And part of the missing front end is attached to the motorcycle as a sidecar. Really cool that they were able to work a bunch of modulating in both modes!

And to Scraphooks other side appears to be Lockdown? Pretty sure he hasn't been listed at all so it's probably "Deluxe Junkion 3". I'm starting to think Detritus will be a Scraphook retool if all the Junkions are going to be modular.

It's not just the Nemesis being shown but also a Quintesson Cruiser even though they haven't been part of this line so far. Wonder what that could mean?
