We literally told you exactly the website they get their early figures from, there is nothing hard about it, you just have to spend money. I only want to see a discussion on the legacy toys from here on out. If people want to discuss about getting toys early, please do it in another thread.
If you have any news, rumours, or hot new sightings to report which you feel should be front paged,

Well, part of the reason it's taking so long is developing the skill. But the idea of it encapsulates my philosophy on action figures in general - the highest best use (in my opinion only) is as a vehicle for telling stories. I can't sit around and play with them with my friends anymore, so how do I use them for their 'highest best use?' The series I'm doing is my (exceedingly slow) answer to that question.

We Now Know all the Mainline Leader Class Releases for Legacy Line in 2023

While the toys may still be in the production stage, orders are placed a year early. So that means that before the year ends we have a pretty good idea at many of next year's releases even if they won't be officially revealed for a while. For instance, thanks to JT Prime and Mr Chaos which have access to order forms, we know which leader class toys are coming out in the Transformers Legacy line next year.

And they are: Armada Megatron, Prime Skyquake and Prime Dreadwing

The only new listing is Dreadwing but we wanted to give a big picture of the Leader Class s a whole. There may be package refresh characters as well (meaning repacks of Legacy leaders) to fill out the waves.

Tra Gen Legacy Ev Leader Prime Skyquake
product Number: F7216
EAN: 5010994207816

Tra Gen Legacy Ev Leader Armada Megatron
Product Number: F7217
EAN: 5010994207786

Tra Gen Legacy EV leader Prime Dreadwing
EAN: 5010996150387

Interesting. Definitely getting Dreadwing. The original Voyager a great looking jet, that I never got but always wanted. Wonder what they can do to G1-ify him. Other than making his head a bit more square, more seeker like.

Armada Megs is still in the Maybe category. Need to see him before I decide.

I know there are a contingent of fans hoping for a Titan Class Tidal Wave based on a single video game appearance from the PS2. However...his predominant appearance in fiction- the Micron Legend/Armada as well as Super Link/Energon animated series is more fitting of a Commander Class. Also with a new Leader Armada Megatron coming in 2023, a CC Tidal Wave would pair up perfectly as armor for Armada Megatron, just as he was in the original series.

This would leave more anticipation for the Titan of 2023. Possibly a new Decepticon Nemesis ship with robot mode (Yes I know we have TR Trypticon but c'mon....) ;)
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Although it isn't stated, I think it's implied they just want you to go to YouTube and engage there. Even then, obviously response is limited. I have responded to a couple of videos in that thread, mostly the ones that also engage here in the forums at they are kind enough to reply with engaging comments. The ones just dumping don't.

Although it would be an interesting social experiment, If someone wants to leave a thoughtful response to one of the bigger YT posters, and see if you get anything greater than "nothing-a one sentence canned response"

Same here. No hate against these characters, I watched their respective shows and loved them. However at the moment I am primarily concentrating G1 characters only. Even then it's just the ones I was particularly fond of as a kid.

I can only comment and support so many at any given time. Regardless, I don't just think it's a fault of the YouTubers for the lack of engagement at that sub-forum, but the fact that we can find YouTube videos easily via YouTube, threads specific to certain aspects of the fandom or the news pages of most TF sites. Another reason might be the clunky, non-visual and non-mobile friendly presentation/design of this site. Other sites use thumbnails and are easier to upload images to and edit text at, so this is a reason why I don't engage with the forums in those areas because it's easier to elsewhere. I feel it's a similar situation at the customs and fan art pages, etc.

You are the furthest from a fanboy, fanboys are toxic and literally destroy everything pleasant about whatever they are fans of, this you are not. Just look at what the fanboys have done to Star Wars and other franchises.
You are one of the few youtubers I actually respect and I do watch your videos. Most of the other clowns are attention whores.

Yes I said it, I have dealt with way too many people that claimed to be one way then turned out to be only in it for the attention they get.

o.supreme wrote:Well...I probably wouldn't quite put it that way, but I agree. Toy reviewers, like critics of any kind, are just sharing an opinion, which anyone can do. I've never been influenced by them.

I don't bullshit, I call it like I observe it and unfortunately there are too many mindless people out there who can't form their own conclusions on things and have to rely on others opinions/views to do so.

When I was doing text reviews for Inside Pulse about 15 years ago I jokingly crowned myself the king of the fanboys, different times then. In it for the attention? *Quickly hides banner of him recreating the classic Broadway Joe Namath ad with toys...*

blackeyedprime wrote:Last reviews I watched were Chucks Roborns :P and I usually watch Emgo/Benscollectables if I'm considering a pricey figure to know its warts n all.

I appreciate this sites photo stills from reviewers so I dont have to watch or give credit to them -and often it might keep the transformation or a little something as a surprise. Having said that I generally dislike most youtubers hahaha but in fairness to some of the major dubious source reviewers I think they have become better at reviews over the years (Tonton/Pvp). Then there is the reviewers that have the ability to grate the wrong way and I'd go out of my way to not see them when even Gifs of their face make me vomit a little.

As for Skullgrin, I'm not keen on the alt mode lump/exposed midsection having to be badly hidden by the swords and lack of a jaw. The impulse not buying was his size compared to the core pretender figures. Having said that with Thunderwing, Skyshadow, Metalhawk and baynus Bludgeon deluxes in my collection gives me a reason to pick him up, at least on sale anyways. Scratch that, I'm just rewatching Guyver and a Zoanoid looking bot has become a buy regardless of my dislikes and the soft plastic.

Without derailing the thread too much, I'm more excited for and enjoying those Unit Roborn figures than anything from Legacy thus far. The only thing that I think can top them are the Takara/Tomy Jobraver figures, which I'm really anxious to get to, they're like sitting there sealed in the Amazon Japan box.

I'm really excited for Skyquake and Dreadwing, the commander class figures from RID were two of my favorites, I never went for the larger-sized ones.

DeathReviews wrote:Boo on soft plastic in general. The only time I can see the excuse of using it is on parts that might get a lot of stress, and need some flexibility to keep them from snapping. But that doesn't seem to be the case with Legacy Skullgrin. None of the parts where they used soft plastic would seem to 'benefit' from it having been used. Especially those weapon accessories. Like Blitzwing's sword, there was no reason to use the rubbery materials, they just went cheap and lazy.

Using another reviewer that interacts on the forums and pulling things back to Legacy...

No solid/specific opinion on Skullgrin yet, want to see him in hand first, but generally not in favor of soft unless it is for stress purposes as you mentioned

I actually think Blitzwing's sword might have been the result of a material change after the mold layouts were set. The same rubbery material appears to have been used on at least 6 other parts; the wing tips, the top of the torso (between the head and shoulders connecting the chest piece to the back) and sides of the torso (connecting armpit to waist). Those other 6 parts all use pin joints, with the torso pieces subjected to a bit of torque during transformation.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were all supposed to be the same hard/paintable purple plastic as the other parts, but ran into issue of splitting some of those joints and needing something with some give, especially the sides of the torso. I think the sword might have just been a casualty of mold layout.

Edit: Upon further inspection the soft material had to be in the works from the start, there are a few more soft purple pieces and a number of tan ones too for 2 separate sprues. I think the sword was just a victim of whatever their mold layout rules, so probably falls under cheap and lazy of a reason enough.

Edit 2: I will say the soft tan material saved me on one of his forearm panels which was a little warped, but I was able to work back to straight.
