I think Rex Grossman should get MVP

for the colts.

Nah I'm j/king. I've been on Rex's side all year, he didn't do all that bad, he just needs work. I don't think I can wait for next season. This is going to be on very rough week.

I hate the colts. I hate horseface manning more. Now they're going to pimp him more so than usual.

yeah, those are pretty much the only two that granted me any enjoyment, which has been about typical for the past few years. that's not nearly enough to qualify as a good commercial year. as for the ones that were on, rock paper scissors easily wins as best commercial, imo.

Colts win 29-17. The Bears got flat out beaten by a good team. The Bears lost the game the because the offensive could not move the football and the defense can not stop an offense like the Colts if they out there for 85 plays. If the Bears could have moved the ball at all, the Bears would have had a chance. The Bears lost this game more than the Colts won it.

To quote the mantra of the minor league baseball team on the north side: "Wait until next year"

That was a fun game to watch. So many mistakes, screw-ups, and back-to-back fumbles. Edge of my seat until third quarter. And that opening touchdown run was fantastic.

I'm personally ready to shoot Grossman. That playing was just...

gross...

I mean, throw after sloppy throw, he gave the Colts a consisent outlet to score. The defence was pulling an okay game, but they weren't getting any support from their offence.

Grossman won't see the next season...

And, just for petty revenge, I personally say we ban all Indianiaia...Indians for about 3 days. :P

You know their service locations, Ryan! ;;)

Luckily this Moderator agrees... or he'd be in a heep of trouble. Still I say this with out a wavering definition, that Half Time Show sucked, and the selection wounded it even more so. What the NFL Needs is to find some one from the recent decade that can actually offer a real gutz and MAN style to the greatest spectical on Earth... Disturbed is a good choice, hell if they want to go to the 80's then why not Iron Maiden or god forbid the greatest Heavy Metal Rockbands of all time, Metallica, Scorpions(just for controvercies sake) or hell offer KISS the gig even if they are retired I am sure they would come back for the Superbowl.

Greatest spectacle on Earth?

Disturbed a good choice?

Assorted crappy metal bands and sell outs?

Egads man, what is your major malfunction?

While I agree the halftime show should have been a heavier in the musical department but all the groups you listed suck or are past their time.

They should go with a more modern band but so many bands just suck nowadays.

Disturbed is damn good, and the other bands are still top class even if they are old. I doubt we will ever see bands such as Spineshank or Deathspecter or some other deathmetal band. Though personally I'd rather have a combo of Disturbed, 40Below Summer and Spineshank than Scorpions or Kiss, but still any hard rocker would be better than the crap we've been forced to endure for the last decade or so.

the problem with getting a good halftime show is that it would have to be a popular band in order for them to get the gig, which means the good choices would be severely limited. personally, i'd say the best options given that restriction would be system of a down, incubus and tool. no way in hell should it be metallica, their '80s stuff is some of my all-time favorite music, and in the '90s they at least occasionally managed to make a decent song, but have you listened to st. anger? as for disturbed, they have an amazing lead singer, but he's pretty much the only thing that makes their stuff listenable (i really wish they'd switch lead singers with dream theater, thus accomplishing disturbed's full potential for terribleness and dream theater's full potential for utter awesomeness in one fell swoop).

I have no taste in music, let me start with that. But Prince was a bad idea from the get go to me.

Just off the top of my head, a better choice would have been someone like Nickelback. :?
