anyone else a bit concerned(anxious) about sounwave in the movie,how come we havent seen any cg models of him or any footage(even a glimpse).i hope he's in the film for more than 5 minutes

Well Soundwave is the one launching the Ravage missile so he'll play an important roll. As to his transforms (plural) I think his first one is cyberteronian satillite and his second is an Anphibious troop/assault truck

Hey im new to the boards, even though ive been coming to this site for almost 3 years now....but anyway i do believe IMDB is right only because i have been checking IMDB for months to see if frank is going to do his voice, and now it is listed, and also charles adler was up there as doing starscreams voice as a rumor for months and now it doesn't.....So thats why i do believe it, and if it is true, we can also maybe guess that bay might have gotten nimoy to do the fallen

It has been a constant source of rumour, speculation, misinformation and here-say for months, but it would appear that one of the more talked about voice acting roles for Revenge of the Fallen has been cast.

Robert Orci has finally confirmed on the Ugo Novie Blog that Frank Welker will be reprising one of his more well-known roles from the G1 Cartoon Soundwave.

Jordan Hoffman: Who’s voicing Soundwave in Transformers?
Roberto Orci: Welker.
Jordan Hoffman: That’s official?
Roberto Orci: I think so.
Jordan Hoffman: Uh oh.
Roberto Orci: Might be something I just told you for the first time, but I think so.
Jordan Hoffman: Good to know.

Ravage, eject! Operation: Autobots destruction! And I hope he also does Ravage as well

. Frank finally has one of his characters voiced by him and his deserved place in the movie series with one of his best characters! And it also feels really special to see his name in the movie cast in imdb, I've checked for that so many times before and now it's there!

Um, why is everyone happy? Don't the Decepticons in the movie speak that Cybertronian lingo? We're not going to hear Welker do any of his famous lines, well we will, but we won't be able to understand them. Also who says they're going to use a Vocoder like they did back in the day. Without that SW's voice is just like Dr. Claw's. That's not bad either though.

The complaining part will follow after how much different Soundwave will look from his G1 counterpart (Ignoring, of course, the 3 other Soundwaves that exist in the mythos). Probably with dumb flames or something.

Dear god, no!!!

I HATE that they had Prime say that. Why would he say that? Its a stupid thing to say in any situation. It makes you look dumb as hell. It doesn't even make sense!
