Skywatch is a government organization who deals with Cybertronians. It has changed a lot throughout the years. Originally a covert organization originally bent on investigating the Cybertronian presence on Earth, Skywatch would collect off lined aliens (Cybertronians) and attempt to control them to their advantage. Eventually, the Cybertronian presence became common knowledge following an alien invasion of Earth, and Skywatch was reworked from the ground up. It became a military force working under the United Nations, using reverse-engineered Cybertronian technology to aggressively hunt down and detain the aliens, who were deemed enemies of humanity. But as time went on, some Skywatch agents learned that the Autobot side of the Cybertronians was really not hostile at all, and a secret alliance was formed between them. They now work together to capture the Decepticons hiding on Earth. As of today, Skywatch continues to work with the Autobots on Earth in the Cybertronian/Autobot Embassy and in the Skywach HQ base.
The Non-Biological Exterrestrial Species Treaty (N.E.S.T.) was created by the U.S. government and Skywatch to help form a new and better alliance with the Autobots to work with Skywatch, special forces groups, CIA, FBI, MI6, DEA, FDA, CDC, WHO, U.N., ATF, N.A.S.A., U.S.A. Intelligence Support Activity, U.S military branches and Task Force 84-05 in the work of fighting against terrorists, Decepticons, COBRA, enemy mercenary/private military groups, and hostile Extraterrestrial races.
