Newly discovered species of lizard named after Optimus Prime

Peru researchers discover two new species of lizard

In short, two new species of lizard were discovered near Machu Picchu in Peru, and one of them, Proctoporus optimus, has been named after Optimus Prime because Machu Picchu was one of the shooting locations for the movies.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one :lol:
