 They look amazing, but I have to admit that they are a mess espeshaly Ironhide. The poses are kinda stupid like Prime's pose, but wy does Starscream remined me of Fredy Krüger? :???:

PS.: Frenzy stil looks stupid.

I'm beginning to think we're going to see just about nothing of Brawl and Bonecrusher. Amazing to me that we haven't seen images of these two other than still photos and the bus scene.

I'm under the impression that both Brawl and Bonecrusher aren't getting a lot of screen time during the movie. As if they are just simple grunts or something like that.

Maybe they are like tode guyes from Star Trak, always in the background and then finaly they say something like:
-As you command Sir!
And boom next we see is The doc neeling on the floor and says:
-the bot's dead Sir! :)

Megs still looks like ****, Screamer looks better but hes not Starscream, Ironhide looks sick, Blackout still looks awsome as does prime. I think jazz has a mouth. Like prime he has a battle mask. Most of them look to human. The only ones that looks like a robot is blakout and ironhide.

Ironhide as Primes body guard? What the hell. The bio said that Prime is the most powerfull Bot. Why does he need a bodyguard? I still feel that Frenzy was going to be Soundwave then they decided to make SW into a chopper but then they said lets not frak up another beloved TF and called them Frenzy and Blackout.

After seeing these pics and reading the comics i think that there alt mode are just armored shells and not part of them like evrey other TF that has ever been made. So what if a part of the armor gets blasted off? Is there going to be a hole in the alt mode? Or since they all have weird named armor that is inpervious to attack the little shell fragments cant be blasted off?

Where is Brawl, Barricade, & Bonecrusher?

I love them all. Is a new incarnation of Transformers I have nothing against them. To me is just like any other incarnation like Armada or Cybertron. I dislike the Prime mouth thing but I know I'm gonna be geeking out watching the movie.

I found myself looking at the images from an artits POV, and I will have to look longer later, and thinking that they seem to lack depth. By this I mean shading. I can't tell what part is what and some seem to be just "floating" there. I would not want to draw these because its hard to tell what is what. They look sort of "flat and dull"

Prime and Bumblebee look fine as they use bright colour but the others are much harder to make out what is armour shell from bits and peices.

but that is just me I suppose.

They do have rather interesting and dynamic poses though

Yeah, I wonder if there are stock renders of those two, I mean, technically there should be a at least couple of every robot from the movie...

I hope some turn up eventually, Brawl and Bonecrusher are my two favourite Decepticons, if they don't get this kinda stock render treatment, I'm-a gonna cry....

I think jazz has a mouth.

He does, check the HQ version.

And anyways, Jazz is definitely my favorite. As usual I don't give a crap about the cons (they all almost look the same to me, everything just jumbles together because they're so "high tech" with their small parts), and Prime and Bumblbee...*shrugs* Meh.

But whoever said human faces on TF's would look stupid was nuts. I seriously think Jazz's face looks great. o_o;

Step by Step...

Prime: That's a really dumb pose for him- he should have a more statuesque pose rather than a sumo pose...

Bumblebee: that's the same pose as the wall sticker things that Hasrbo is releasing...it's still an impressive render...

Jazz: I don't think we've seen much of him...but it's very nice; I'm impressed with him.

Ironhide: That render fits his name; damn does he ever look like a badass...I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley...VERY nice.

Blackout: stills don't do him just...the trailer had better shots of him...cool pose though

Frenzy: meh...I know he need to be able to transform into an item that's roughly 18 inches by 12 inches by 10 inches as well as a robot four feet tall, but I personally I would rather they had gone with a two foot tall robot that wasn't so spindley...

Starscream: now THAT is terrifying...fantastic!

Megatron: whoa...pure evil. That's all I've got to say...and the head looks so much better...

I really think these will all look a lot better in motion but these stills are the best yet. My hope for this continues to build..:-)
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

I've generally been avoiding the movie-related news, so this is the first time I'm really seeing all of the new renders in one place.

I can definitely say that I am now less excited about the movie than ever before. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Maybe in the hands of a respected director, I could still retain some cautious optimism, but since I have hated all of Bay's movies (you know, like movie critics).

Oh, but judging by earlier comments in this thread and others, maybe I'm not supposed to say all that. I'm a "whiner." I should "quit bitching." Only comments of praise allowed! Fall in line! Love it or leave it! It's probably the only Transformers movie you're ever going to get, so just accept it for what it is!

Uh, no.

I got that once... well words akin to that.. something like "I should be grateful, and cease spreading hate" When in actual fact, as much as its interesting that they are making a movie if transformers, I feel no more "love" for the idea than I did the "Doom" movie, which btw, has far more personal significance to me than transformers does, and I did not even go see that in the theater.
All I could say was I had suffered from culture shock and disappointment. Voicing that got me called a spreader of hate and ungrateful.

For the most part, and I wish most would attempt this at least is to agree to disagree. Some love the movie idea and concepts, that's cool. And some do not love the movie or the concepts, that is also cool.

I still attempt to remain open minded. Characterisation of Characters seem okay at this point.

Honestly, I am getting used to "Flaming Optimus" by this point, and 'Bee is starting to seem...er...cute. Jazz's trad styling makes me happier. Starscream, OTOH, is verging on my gag reflex. He's like this broad, distorted, wierdly articulated thing. And, I can't figure out his face. Not good for one of the most expressive characters from G1.

Megs, though...that new head nearly made me wet myself. That's more like it.

This set of images still leaves me with apprehension about movie Ratchet. I just don't think there's anything they can do at this point to un-f*ck-up that mess.

Starscream came out very well. Probably the best I've seen him so far. Still not sure what they were aiming for with Optimus' pose. He looks like he's trying to break down a very low door with his shoulder. Or he's doing the twist. Yeah.

Anyhoo, looking good. And where the hell's Brawl?

Aye, they are some nice renderings. But what's with the Spider-Man poses half of them are making? Prime looks like his leg is coming off his shoulder. SS looks acceptable, if in need of some colour. But where's the cop car dude (I forget his name). He's the best looking robot mode from what I've seen, but there isn't alot of him around.

I still hate the designs. Jazz is probably the best one outta the lot. Could be growing on me. Bayscreamer visually doesn't do it for me. I'm reserving judgement cause' I have yet to see how his character will be protrayed movie wise. Megatron is lame. Why does he need teeth again? Frenzy sucks,...period!

Blackout still looks great, Ironhide and Optimus still look acceptable (gee, I wonder why all the press images have his mouthplate up) and Starscream looks slightly less ridiculous with the mask hiding his face. Oh, and it looks like they fixed Megatron's hands! They don't look like they were designed to perform back-alley abortions anymore. His body still looks unnecessarily busy though.

Man those images sure are "busy" it's actually quite difficult to make out the outline of Blackout's head, amongst all the "detailing"

Jazz and Ironhide look great.

Some of these designs are way to busy. Ironhide is the worst. The low contrast between Ironhides exterior and internal parts in addition to the busy designs makes it difficult to recognize his feet, knees, joints, and appendages. Everytime I see a picture of Ironhide I have to study the picture before I realize what he is doing.

Many users have been emailing us to let us know that the same high-resolution images have been posted on Michael Bay's official site here

Let's hope there will be more like these in the near future, they're lots of fun to look at. And where's Brawl and Bonecrusher? They're my favourites...

I see that people are having trouble distinguishing parts of these bots in clear, static renders.

Now imagine trying to identify them at 10,000 km/s Bay-speed with rapid camera cuts and stuff flying everywhere. You'll be lucky to tell which 'bot is bad and which is good. All of them are so "junk metal" looking that it's probably going to be a blur (not, not Blurr) to me at the end of the movie.

It's ridiculous. These things have no distinctive silhouettes, they're all too similar, with the points and bizarre angles.

This photo here that I found illustrates mine and apparently many others' problems with the aesthetic:

http://img522.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ghtai9.jpg

They just bleed into each other far too much, the fight scenes will be messy and chaotic, just masses of metal entangled and bland too with those dull slate grey colour schemes so many of them have.
