Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

So... Does Henkei Rathalos count as a non-Transformer-transformer? Anyone think he can double as a Beast Wars Predaking variant?
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail ... 6&page=topIf he didn't cost so much, I would have picked him up.

If you're going by the "Henkei" in the product name, it's not referring to the Henkei Transformers product line made by TakaraTomy. "Henkei" means transform or transformation. I don't play Monster Hunter but I guess this is a "transformed" version of Rathalos?
This toy is a chogokin, I'm not sure which Chogokin line of Bandai's it belongs to.

Thanks I kinda guessed Henkei meant transforming. It's a pretty cool looking figure. Just not much of a market for it I guess.

It's a one-off collaboration with Bandai X MonsterHunter for MH's 10th Annivesary and Chogokin's 40th, specially designed by Hajime Katoki
So yeah, it's just Rathalos mecha-fied.

That's a great toy for Monster Hunter fans and mecha fans alike.

I withdraw my comment on the popularity of such figures. All the pre-orders are sold out on AmiAmi already. If only I had more cash to throw around...

Bandai tends to have relatively low max pre-order allotments for their popular action figure lines(ie. DX Chogokin Renewal, S.H. Figuarts, S.I.C., etc.). AmiAmi is quite a popular online retailer and often Bandai pre-orders sell out through them fairly quickly.
Rathalos is available at Anime Export. Large retailers like HLJ and Hobby Search haven't put up pre-orders for Rathalos yet but I imagine they'll offer it soon.

Thanks for your insights on the supply and demand aspects of these figures.
