That's a good price for a Prime and Ratchet, especially when a deluxe is over $30 these days. And it will go with those other Shattered glass toys you bought. Or you could just buy it and sell it on e-bay for $100

Everyone slept on that SG Prime and Ratchet set because it seemed like a one-off that wouldn't fit in most people's collections. Little did we know it was a teaser to many figures to come.

Something I've found interesting is that Hasbro seems to have made a ton of these figures because they had a lot left for their sale in both the US and UK store and yet it was successful enough to get a second wave. Just proves something I've been saying for years, just because we find a bunch of figures on clearance that doesn't mean it wasn't a success, they can make a big profit without selling everything, at some point even on clearance they're making something.

I don't know how many people slept on it, it's a relatively small box that's very uncomfortable to lay on, I know a TON of people had problems with orders from Amazon being canceled or just shut out.

Saying he has an exo suit is a huge stretch, but Decepticon Slicer with Decepticon logos and a weaponizer pack-in is incredibly exciting. I love the colors, he's great. Hopefully the SG fans don't mind the choices there.

Oh wow, they're doing Slicer next and he comes with his exo suit/buggy in form of a red Fasttrack! And Slicer has new guns based on the Energon figure, I wonder if that means they'll give us a Selects Downshift. So cool! Going on sale at 1pm for members, 2pm for everyone else. Might have to buy two so I can stick a proper Decepticon symbol on him.

What's more, in the stream, Mark Maher kept talking about the figure as if it were an update of G1 Action Master Slicer more than just another SG figure, so I guess like both Botcon 2010 Slice and the new SG Ultra Magnus, this toy represents more than one character.

The newly revealed Slicer is up on Pulse now for preorder at 48.99. He is a multipack coming with a redeco of Earthrise Wheeljack and what they call an exosuit figure which can be taken apart to simulate the G1 action master toy. You can even have him sitting in it, as you can see from the images below. We also added images of the previous Slicers for you to see what Hasbro is going for here.

SG Slicer which can also be repurposed as G1 slicer, like they did with SG magnus.

That's honestly pretty cute, and pretty neat that Action Masters have been getting more and more callbacks. Jackpot getting Sights and now Slicer getting his Exo-Suit?
I do like that he seems to have a regular Decepticon insignia in these pictures, and it's probably a toyhax label away from being SG Slicer or SG Wheeljack.

They shoulda left the label off and offered up two different stickers. It's really neat regardless.

I have the Botcon one, though, and I'm limiting what I get so it's a pass. But it's still a nice figure. If they make an Action Master Thundercracker? All for that.

Having reviewed both ER Wheeljack and ER Fasttrack, I don't think there's any way you could get Slicer to stand up while wielding weapon Exo Suit in THAT pose.

He's essentially holding the entire weight of another deluxe figure in one 5mm port at the end of his arm...

Man, Slicer is giving me so many fits.

I like it, but I don't like that once again it is essentially 2 things: SG Wheeljack and G1 Slicer. I want Slicer as an action master update, but I also want him for the SG shelf. And i don't want to buy 2, I already feel a lot of pain over that with Magnus.

Ordered two, one for the G1 Decepticons and one for SG Autobot Wheeljack and SG Decepticon Fasttrack. I kinda want to track down a BotCon Doublepunch and stick Fasttrack with him.

So quick question, with the first wave of 5, I know a couple items got released out of order, but where they relatively close to the release of the comics series, or several months after?

I mean the first issue is supposed to be out in August, and the Ultra Magnus toy not until October? But I guess this makes sense. IDW has to have all their stuff published before end of year when they lose the license, but the toys will be coming well into next year. Kind of sad.

But I did notice an odd skip:

Ultra Magnus is supposed to be released 10/1/22
Blaster is suppose to be 11/1/22
Then Slicer is 2/1/23...

Does that mean the last 2 could actually fill in gaps from December 2022, and January 2023? Or do we think the last 2 will be further into 2023? (Also what are the rumors for the last 2? I'm sure this was stated somewhere else, my apologies I could not find it).

At any rate, at least they are on pace to reveal the last 2 before the first issue of the comic comes out to avoid spoilers. Also I know the excitement of these toys is not solely driven by the comic, probably more people will be getting these that wont even read the comic, than will, but for any media tie in (whether print or animated), it seems like Hasbro cant win as far as timing.

Lastly, I did say I wanted that "Roritchi" repaint, but I dont feel compelled to pre-order it. When it is finally released, if I have the funds on hand I'll get it, if not, so be it.
