Some great news with my G2 collection. I can say i now have all the variants of the Dinobots. I was fortunate to find a listing for the silver version of Snarl. Still have to find his gun but otherwise i now have all of them. Once i get him in hand i will upload some photos. So for my G2 line, i just need Dirtbag and i am good to go.

On the G1 front, I finally found the shield for Targetmaster Blurr. Talk about a hard item to find. I got lucky with a notification update on eBay from a seller i have bought from before. That item doesn’t come up often if not at all and being in great condition. Goes back to a hard lesson learned. When i was buying G1 stuff several years ago my mind set was “it’s all good i can find those missing accessories later”. Apparently i picked the wrong ones to have that mind set for.

So with the parking garage project i have added more carving details; mainly on the back upper left wall and even done some details to the right wall area. That area will have vending machines and some other stuff. I have to touch up the fire extinguisher and exit sign a bit but i am happy with how that turned out.
I still need to add carving details to the front upper left wall and then that should be it there. I decided to add a neat feature to the ground floor. For the entrance area it will now have a waterfall feature. I know it wont be visible from the front but it will be seen from that side of the display case. Just cool to add something different.

Once the upper level is done i can then turn my attention to the ground floor.

I have made some good progress on the parking garage diorama. Got all the carving details completed with all the walls, built a pergola for the vending machine area, and starting sealing the towers and the short walls in preparation for paint.

In addition, i did a final test fit in the display case, so everything is officially good there. Today i did do some minor painting but nothing yet on the main garage wall pieces.

A change from this project. With my Space Bridge diorama; bringing the multi universe to life i have now added Legacy Armada Starscream. He is hanging out with Tarn. I was actually lucky to find him on eBay for 25 bucks in a damaged box. The seller actually offered 22.50, so with shipping he was around 29 or so. Of note, decided to add Shadowstrip for a bit.

Wanted to share an unexpected find that i found at a local flea market store today. I got Ectotron for 50 bucks, which i thought wasn't too bad. Honestly this is my first item i have purchased from the collaborative line. Not sure if i will open it up but i might, we will see.

A surprising find today at the local Walmart, i finally spotted the Legacy Wave 3 deluxes. I cannot make that up, it blew my mind. I thought i would never see them in a store. Not that it’s that big of a deal but it’s nice to find new stuff on the shelf besides the norm/shelf warmers. I decided to pick up Skullgrin and thought he would be a nice addition to my Space Bridge diorama.

Also, i decided to add the Megatron gun that comes with the G1 reissue Starscream. See if you can spot him laying about.

Overall i think i have a good group of Cons displayed throughout this diorama.

Parking Garage is looking very good. I'm surprised you got Tarn to chill, how is he putting up with just having to sit there? Can't wait to see it finished!

. It’s time for him to get after it, Starscream will be ok by himself.

The parking garage is coming along nicely. I haven’t worked on it for a couple of days but hopefully soon i can start painting some pieces.

For the humor of it i am sharing this photo i took. Im sure there are some of you out there that are still seeing Legacy Wave 1 on the pegs, maybe not. Around my AO, wave 1 is flourishing about. Now that i am finally seeing wave 3, i thought i would share this photo of Dragstrip and Deadend together. Who would have thought.

On a personal trip coming back home, the wife and I stopped by the small Walmart in Buffalo, MO. Not to strange to see Legacy Wave 1, but they actually had 3x Shadowstrip hanging on the pegs, along with 2x Clampdown. You never know what you will find. They happen to also have 4x Sludge on the shelf and one lonely Blitzwing.

Small update with my parking garage. I have painted at least the floor areas of the ground and upper level. Tonight i worked on the upper level were i have the vending machines. The big highlight is the Transformer movie posters. A seller on eBay had a lot of 1/24 scale movie posters and I asked him if he would take request. He did and i sent him some suggestions. On the wall behind the one guy you can see the 86 movie poster and why not, something new that comes out this June. I have a couple more movie posters i will add throughout but thats it for now.

Then for the ground level center wall i have added some graffiti stickers to give it some pop. I got those from a seller overseas. I have plenty more to do but i am calling it a night.

On the collecting side of things i have two new additions, one for my G2 line and the other for my RID 2001 line.

For my G2 shelf i have finally added Dirtbag. Was able to get him for a fairly decent price all the way from the UK. Overall the condition is amazing for its age and the automatic transforming gimmick works pretty good. With this addition, my G2 line is complete.

I realized with my RID 2001 collection i was missing some deluxe size Autobots. While the car modes are not bad the robot modes are definitely different. I was able to get a good deal on X-Brawn with the package. While the package has seen better days and was not sealed the actually car itself was still tied/secured in the bubble part. In fact it still had the rubber bands in place although they were pretty dry rotted and fell apart. All in all, its in great shape.

My due outs, still need to post photos of the G2 Dinobots now that i have all the color variations, MTF there.

Had to share this find. Today while me and the wife were out we stopped by a Walmart located in Branson. Usually they don't have much and i end up finding more stuff at the Target near by but that hasn’t been the case lately. Anyways, i did see Studio Series ROTB Bumblebee and Airazor on the pegs but otherwise i didn't see anything new until i look up at the top of the shelf. I usually look below and on top anyways but this time someone had stuck TM ll Megatron on top of other boxes/packages. Good thing i am tall, hahaha. The minute i pulled it down i could tell what or who it was. I know i could have bought this guy on line but I still prefer finding them in store if at all possible. It’s about the “hunt” and for this particular one i was really happy i found him in person. Otherwise up until this point i haven’t seen him at all, so to me this was a big find for me.

I have an idea where to display him but i need to do a couple things first, so mtf on that.

Dragon megs is the superior megs

There was one thing i failed to mentioned in that post about Dragon Megs. I had to do alittle arm repair. The right upper arm or i should say shoulder piece was mounted backwards. Not hard to take part and fix. I do have him in his permanent spot. Photos coming soon.

Two updates, one for the Legacy Dragon Megs new location and the other, finally completing Cybertron (UCT) Menasor.

Was able to suspend Dragon Megs above my Space Bridge diorama; giving another addition to my “multi-universe” group of Cons. I would say at this point this diorama is good to go. I think the one photo is alittle off so it maybe hard to really get a good look from the front.

Next up, i can’t believe i have finally completed Cybertron Menasor. I bought this guy when i was back in Germany (way back). Again this is one that i said, hey he isn’t complete but i can find his accessories etc. In this case he was missing Cyber Key and his minicon; Heavy Load. I realize in the past years i wasnt really looking that hard for Heavy Load but since i retired i have been really looking. Got lucky with a notification of a Newley listed item on eBay. Sent the seller an offer, which i still paid a tad more but i was ok with it. Finally he is 100%, im totally happy.

Another update with my Alternator Parking Garage diorama. I have finally picked out a name for the parking garage. With this i chose Ogygia. Doing some research, that was the name of the ship that carried Cybertronians from Cybertron to Velocitron. I thoughts since i have this diorama filled with some speedy cars (for the most part) Ogygia would work for the name.

In the photos you will see were i put the name on the water fountain feature and the middle wall piece that will be in front between the ground and upper level. See what you think.

I was able to do quite a bit of work on the Ogygia Parkplatz. The upper level is getting close to being almost complete. Today i did a lot of details to the smaller walls (ground & upper), towers, paint lines for the upper level, and a lot of dry brushing. For the walls a lot of the detail was painting in the lines and painting inside those shapes i made. All in all it is looking good. Still plenty more work but i am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, the upper level is pretty much completed. I still have just a couple of things to touch up or finish tweaking but otherwise this is pretty much how it will look in the display case. I might had a figure or two later but that would be it. Only one note to add, my minimum height bar flipped on me before taking the photo but has been fixed since then.
From the previous photos i loaded, i add detail around the graffiti sign, added the one poster, painted white block area by the door and at the top of the ramp. In addition, along the lower part of the overall upper section, painted the lines blue.
Before it gets glued to the lower section i will need to glue in some type of lighting underneath.

For the ground floor area i need to paint the lines, rework the ticket booth, finish the wall/door piece, and add some more detail and perhaps other type of graffiti (letters only). Shouldn’t be too much longer though.

On the collecting side of things, i was able to find RID 2001 Prowl for a great price from Transformerland. Overall the figure was in great shape and tight joints for its age. Another nice addition to my RID collection; leaving Side Burn and Dark Scream to buy, for now.
