I'm hoping they make the toys for the character of Season 3 because for Teen Titans they had a bunch of concept toys of all these new characters but they never got made because the show got canceled.

And if they do make these toys how are they going to fit it in with the RoTF line of toys?

Alpha Trion looks amazing. I hope they come out with a figure for him before the series/product line wraps up. We should have had one ages ago but better late than never. As for the Decepticon, I still don't know what to make of that guy. I keep thinking Bulkhead, a fem 'Bot and some alcohol got together many cycles ago and this guy has finally come looking for his daddy.
He's messing with my bad-ass mindset because part of my brain wants to call him cute and take him home and the other part wants to take him up a big hill, tip him over and see how long he'll roll...just for the sport of it. I can't even begin to gues his alt. mode.

Is this just a "Whoa is me" post, or do you have some inside knowledge here? I sincerely hope, like you, that this isn't the case...

These new designs are great! I can only hope Hasbro wakes up and gives us ALL the characters!

Probably a little bit of both. Historically, Hasbro waited 6 whole months to put the TFA toys in general release after the show started. By that time, I think that all of the original airings Seansons 1 and 2 had aired. I would have thought that they would have wanted the toys to support the show, and in return have the show support the toy line (like has always been the case with previous shows). But for whatever reason, they didn't. Instead, the only Transformers product that they had out at the time was mostly repaints from original movie line.
I really hope they continue to make TFA toys, they are awesome. But if you look at the Toy Fair press release(which is obviously incomplete), there is still no listing for them as a "brand highlight".
Obviously, the new movie line will be their priority for the next year, and if the rumors are true, and the show doesn't go past the third season, I can't see Hasbro investing time and money in a "dead" franchise. Which would be a shame.

Hm. For some reason when I see that 'Con, with the bits jutting from his back and the round things behind his shoulders, the general shape, I think Powermaster Engine.
But didn't one of the earlier spoiler images for the new series include Cancer? Maybe this is his own Headmaster Unit, and he's the original Headmaster's kid brother or somethng...

You think this version of AT will be able to transform? These heels look quite wheelish to me...

I'm trying to remember, did he ever transform in the G1 show. Part of my brain says that he did once, but I don't think I'm remembering the episode correctly. (with Orion Pax and the female Autobots. I seem to recall one of them being injured and being transported but I can't recall if AT was the one who did the transporting and I don't have any of those episodes on DVD or VHS for refference)

If the new one transforms, his "cape" almost lends itself to a flying or hover vehicle design but his age seems to bring to mind a form that would pre-date hover-field technology. You know, "The good old days" when the rubber still met the road.

Alpha Trion looks awesome. Doesnt even look like animated. I hope they make a figure. I say that Decepticon is a drone. Or they're bringing in Sharkticon type bots for cannon fodder.

It was posted earlier in this thread and over on the TFW boards that the well armored bowling ball is named dirt-boss. And I still want to tip him over to see if he'll flail like a turtle to get himself righted. :P

That is because Animated is introducing a new type of 'master'. We've had head-masters and power-masters, even breast-masters... now I give you, The Ass-Master.

I'm banking on these two.

The two extensions over the head remind me of a forklift of some kind...wheels on the back of the arms... perhaps a new version of Long Haul?

The little guy reminds me of Blot, Scourge and one of the G1 Insecticons all at once. The teeny legs look more like Blot's though.
